In the first half of this year, Azerbaijan reduced electricity imports by nearly 16 percent, bringing the total to around 81 million kilowatt-hours. This decline comes as domestic electricity production rose to approximately 13.9 billion kilowatt-hours, supported by growth in renewable energy output.
