BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. From April 10 to
12, the National Gymnastics Arena became the venue for competitions
of rhythmic gymnasts, Trend reports with reference to the Azerbaijan
Gymnastics Federation.
Representatives of the Ojag Sport Club, Baku Gymnastics School,
Republican Complex Sports School, Grazia Sports Club, Palace of
Water Sports, Shagan Olympic Sports Complex and Zira Cultural
Center demonstrated their skills in the competitions within the
framework of the 30th Baku Championship.
Gymnasts in the age categories of children (born in 2015, 2016,
2017), pre-juniors (born in 2013-2014), pre-juniors (born in 2012)
and juniors (born in 2010-2011).performed in the individual program
of the tournament.
The group exercises program featured performances by gymnasts
from the children’s (born in 2015-2017) and pre-junior (born in
2012-2014) age groups.
During the first two days, winners in the all-around events in
various age groups were determined. In group exercises,
representatives of the children’s, pre-junior and junior categories
were awarded.
The following day, the award ceremony took place for the winners
in the individual program among children and pre-juniors, and in
the group exercises program in the age categories of children,
pre-juniors, as well as in the team competition.
