Employees United and Starbucks had introduced in February that they’d work on a “foundational framework” to achieve a collective bargaining settlement for shops, one thing the union says has not come to fruition.
In an announcement on Thursday following the strike announcement, Starbucks stated Employees United delegates had “prematurely ended” its bargaining session earlier within the week.
